the summer always feels like life is on pause. i rarely live outside of anticipation. i am always waiting and forgetting that life is really in motion. but boy how life is moving. sprinting.

life is clearly divided. whether it’s into chapters or segments or seasons. there are just times when things make sense, but only for that time. and times when nothing makes sense until you are out of that time. i have had some doosies lately.
first, breaking up with maria. that sent me on a serious search for what really made me tick. once i got some sort of idea of how much i was loved...

it is summer. i have taken the time and the liberty to compile a summer playlist. excuse me, the ultimate summer playlist.
pant sweat, knee sweat, beard sweat, sunburn, hot feat, sticky leather seats, melted chocolate, harsh tan lines, crocodiles. all down falls of summer. however, the music of summer nearly makes it all worth it.

maria and i got baptized yesterday.
along with over 400 other people.
in two weeks we baptized 1044 people in two weeks at elevation.
this is where i need to be. this is where maria and i have to be.
so, for those of you who don’t know we are moving to charlotte after graduation.
god is good.

my life
well, the lord has shown me a lot lately. i think my life is changing. ideas that i had are getting wiped away. destroyed. kind of like this computer.
i witnessed 630 people get baptized on sunday. i heard more stories of how god has changed peoples seemingly irreversable lives in the last two days then maybe ever. our god is just such a good god. not like, he’s good at what he does. of...

i am making an ARG. that is an “alternate reality game.” i know it sounds dorky. and it kind of is. but it’s for our student awakening event that starts on august 21. here’s an article about a ridiculous one that the head marketing guy from microsoft made for the release of a nine inch nails album. ridiculous stuff.
