i went to africa.
it is funny because i’ve always wanted to go somewhere far away like that. and to be able to go shoot over there really just blows me away. but it was nothing like i expected. the things i saw and experienced are just now beginning to hit me. we were constantly on the move, traveling from city to city, experience to different experience. it was a peculiar trip, because i really had no time to prepare mentally or emotionally for it. we decided we were going, and three weeks later i was on a plane flying over greenland.
we shot for six days straight, got back on a tuesday and edited a 40 minute short by the following tuesday. we used it as our sermon for week 2 of our huge series here called “kingdom come.” anyway, it was an amazing experience both as a person and as a professional.
i am finishing up some wedding videos, so that means i should be getting my new website [via @ryansworth] within the next few weeks. so there is that to look forward to, at least for me.
