bokeh productions
my friend matt kern and i have decided to embark upon a business venture. starting in the next couple of weeks we are starting a wedding video company called bokeh productions. “bokeh” refers to the circular shapes formed when a highlight or light source is out of focus. you can usually tell the quality of a lens from the quality of its bokeh. so anyway, a little technical film jargon mixed with a little wedding jargon [bouquet] seemed like the perfect marriage [omg! funny pun!] of ideas. we are building a website, so i’ll be sure to post the link to that as soon as it is up and running.
in other news, school starts monday. this quarter i am taking:
SENIOR PROJECT I
DIRECTING AND PRODUCING THE MUSIC VIDEO
20th CENTURY ART
i am dreaming of doing my senior film in the oklahoma panhandle. my plan/dream is to do a period piece loosely based on the dustbowl era mixed with a murder mystery. anyway, killer. i am beginning my research with this book i bought yesterday at b&n called “the worst hard time”.
and i’m watching big love with maria right now. sheesh, i am just so culturally rounded. from the dustbowl to mormon polygamy.
make sure to let me know if you know anyone that is getting married that wants an amazing wedding video. here’s a taste of what we do.
goodbye for now.
by the way, emiliana torrini just came out with a new album. check it out here.
oh, and maria rocks.
