i am watching the debate right now. just got done watching the biggest loser. that’s what they ought to call the debate. AHHHH!!!! BURRNNN!!! just kidding, but for reals. it’s all just a game. they just say what we want to hear and then they just do what they want to do. i am so unaffected by everything, however. i have such a buffer. i am a college student who never watches tv and basically lives for free [as far as i am concerned]. i have to pay for groceries every once in a while or a goodwill run. so, it’s hard for me to care. i’m sorry, but i am just being honest. it is just really hard for me to believe a word these guys say. i just really doubt they have my interests in mind. greed, excess, spending, bail out, “rescue”, debt, millions, trillions, warshington, blah blah. it’s just all a lot of jargon and a really round about way of getting nothing done. i’m young, but i’m sure that’s the truth. i just haven’t heard anybody talk so much and honestly say absolutely nothing.

all that said, no one person is going to change anything. and i don’t mean that like “we have to do this together!” i mean that like “there’s no hope.”

which is why i am so excited about the new series at elevation church. the real change campaign. cause the only hope we have is a hope that doesn’t return void. like every presidential candidate ever. anyway, i am very excited about what pastor furtick has to say. i am ready for my world to be rocked.

ps: i’m producing a big video for the series that i am even more excited about. i love that place.

pss: just bought jaredhogan.com and within the month it will be up and running. so, be excited.

here’s the series graphic by my good friend ryan hollingsworth.

[i kind of stole this off of flickr. so uhh…]

and lastly, some new opportunities have arisen, and i am in the midst of creating a music video for one of my favorite bands, balmorhea, and some background pieces for their tour. anyway, those will be done, well, probably not until mid-november. but keep your eye out, they’ll be here before you know it.
