georgia, tennessee, mississippi, arkansas, oklahoma, texas and back
so my friend matt kern and i went to texas. i am shooting my thesis, now, from texas to california as we follow a dust bowl refugee who travels westward to find work. we spent five days out on the road and we saw some amazing things. par examplay [french..]:

[camera shy dog]
[also a theory: he is dying]

[cheap gas]
[record low on trip: $1.85]

[then your average school bus pulling the pt cruiser]

[me and bob. my grandpop]

[and some quality time with ol’ woody guthrie]
[we from the same town, of course, in case you were not aware]

[and matt, embracing the culture]
and what we actually came for… the landscape.

altogether a fantastic/worthwhile trip. i never want to do it again. oh, forgot, doing it in like three weeks. the movie is ‘THE EARTH IN THE AIR’.
knock your socks off good.
