the earth in the air.

here is a small trailer for my senior thesis film. it will premiere in savannah on may 28 in the trustees theatre. take a look.

i will let the trailer speak for itself, but for those of you who are curious, the film is about the dustbowl of the 1930’s. it follows two strangers both fleeing the plains of oklahoma, and their journey westward toward california as “dustbowl refugees.” however, i would encourage you not to make any assumptions or establish any expectations. it is not at all what you expect.

it was shot on location in new mexico over a span of two weeks in december. it stars my brother, josh hogan, and robert conley. it was shot on my camera [sony pmw-ex1] with a letus extreme 35mm adapter. it is nearly done, with the exception of post sound and visual effects. let me know what you think.
